Mathias Derksen

Technical Expert - Electric Motor Design and Optimization, Volkswagen AG

Mathias Derksen, M.Sc. is responsible for the design of electric motors for the series development since 2016. Since several years he is involved at the development of methodology. He began his career with the dual studies program at Volkswagen where he received B.Sc. in electrical engineering and additionally became automation specialist. After graduation he worked as engineer of electric motor design at Volkswagen and continued his studies at University of Kassel where he got his Master’s degree.
