Manuel Haas is an experienced engineer in the field of electronics development and systems engineering with over 15 years of professional experience. He has been Head of Systems & Functional Safety at the DRÄXLMAIER Group since December 2019. In this position, he is responsible for the development and safety of complex electronic systems in the automotive industry. Prior to this role, he worked at DRÄXLMAIER from May 2019 to November 2019 as Head of System Design and managed the system engineers for electronic products. Prior to that, he was Head of Electronics Development Projects from December 2014 to April 2019 and was responsible for the development of control units in the automotive industry. Manuel Haas began his professional career after training as an IT specialist and studying bioinformatics and process automation at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences. After working as a systems engineer and senior systems engineer at Berner & Mattner Systemtechnik GmbH and as head of electronics development sub-projects at QESTRONIC Advanced Technologies GmbH, he joined the DRÄXLMAIER Group in 2014. He has extensive experience in the development of e-mobility solutions, high-voltage storage systems and control units for the automotive industry.
